Turning on to The Road To Harvard

May 18th, 2010

Who cares about college when you’re 9?  I do! I’ve always, well, almost always wanted to go to Harvard University. Okay, 1-2 years. But the main idea is… I WANT TO GO TO HARVARD!

Why do I want to go to Harvard? For one, it is like, the NUMBER ONE SCHOOL IN AMERICA! That would be good for a job interview (unless the interviewer was a Yale graduate). Second, imagine the education you would get there! You’d be an Einstein. Last, but not least, wouldn’t you be proud if you were accepted into, I repeat, THE NUMBER ONE SCHOOL IN AMERICA! And then graduated from it, especially.

How to get there: the first one’s a no-brainer. Work hard in school. How can you get into one of the hardest colleges in the country if you don’t do well in school? You can’t, is the answer. Next, save money. If you are accepted, you might get a scholarship, but it won’t be full-fledged.

The last one might be the most important: become Mr./Ms. extracurricular man/girl. You must fill up your application to show you care about the community. This applies to all colleges, because they want somebody who is active and who cares.

Getting into Harvard takes a lot of determination, or any college in general. I think my method should work, but you’re not always right.
